I'm in a know-it-all phase today and so here I go again with yet another prediction. With Halloween quickly approaching, it is only natural that I would be thinking about the costumes that we are guaranteed to see this October.
Most folks take their cues from pop culture so we will surely be seeing many Jersey Shore cast members walking around. Expect the most likely ones to be Snooki, The Situation, J Woww and Pauly D. Other looks you can expect will be the mad hatter and the red queen from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, and many homemade renditions of Lady Gaga's most memorable outfits from this year. And with the whole eerily coincidental Russian spy ring take down that occurred shortly before Angelina Joilie's film Salt debuted, we know that all the girls are going to want to be Anna Chapman sans the topless photos.

Last night on the Gansevoort Hotel rooftop, 15 beautiful Latina models gathered for the party celebrating the premiere of their new reality show on SiTV, Model Latina NYC. The most delicious vodka lemonade was served as the family and friends of all the models anxiously awaited their arrival. Applause was heard all around when they finally walked in the door and “Empire State of Mind” blasted through the speakers.
In speaking to the models last night, they all shared the same feelings of pride, but extreme gratitude for being able to be a part of the experience. Nashlly Sokoli, who calls her self the flower that grows out of the Newark Concrete Jungle explained, “It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I learned and grew so much.” Her fellow contestant, Elora Prez had similar feelings, “it was very overwhelming. It was a different first time experience. It is something you’ll never forget!” Another one of the contestants, Carla Soto spoke about being born in Mexico, and not taking the American dream for granted: “I had to learn a lot to conquer the American dream. Now I’m getting closer to where I want to be. I’m about to move to L.A.!” She also talked about the living situation, “It was a hard competition though. You have the blonde girl, the tan girl, the brown girl…Imagine us all under one roof!”
Casbah, one of the hottest nightclubs in Atlantic City is located in Trump Taj Mahal on the strip. It has one of the best views on the strip, with the boardwalk and colorful pier looking out to the water. Under recent new management, Steve has been in the business for 18 years now. Since taking over, Steve has opened the outdoor lounge to the public as table services, adding a DJ booth outdoors which gives the crowd a variety of music to pump to. With the convenience of smoking outdoors, it is a definite chill area where guests can stroll in and out of the actual indoor club. Drinks are at an affordable price, bottle services range from $200 for champagne to $1400 for a bottle of King Louis.
