The electronic dance music trailblazer, Kaskade, will bring his signature sound when he takes over HQ Nightclub at Revel in Atlantic City for what is sure to be a spectacular debut as he helps close out 2012 with a special pre-NYE set on Sunday, December 30.
Born Ryan Raddon, The New York Times called him "the new face of electronic dance music" and that could suit him well. However, the American DJ has been in the scene for more than 10 years. In that time, he has built a name for himself as an innovator of the electronic dance music scene as fans know it today and helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Having released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, which nabbed nine Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, having been named America’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ, and headlining festivals around the world, it's safe to say Kaskade will go down as an iconic name.
In 2012, he also went on his largest headlining tour ever with over 50-plus North American dates in just over three months. During his Freak's of Nature tour, he broke industry records and became the first electronic artist to ever solo headline Los Angeles’ iconic Staples Center and even sold out the venue more than a month in advance.
HQ Nightclub has housed immensely notable talent and having Kaskade will be another groundbreaking night to add to the list. Tickets go on sale Monday, November 26 at 10 a.m. EDT available here.
