Scene
Surround yourself with today’s youth at the Joshua Tree, located in the hip Allston area. On weekends, local college students flock to this popular burger bar to get their dance, drink, and eating on without breaking the budget or making the trip all the way to downtown Boston. With a good mix of young adults, the Joshua Tree does not feel to college-y or too mature, making it a relaxed and fun bar. With TVs all over and well-priced drinks, there’s no doubt that the Joshua Tree will host a fantastic night.
Eats & Drinks
Two large, glowing signs adorn the front of the Joshua Tree : “Sports” and “Burgers.” It’s pretty clear that burgers are served inside this popular bar and restaurant. In fact, users rave about the Joshua Tree’s delicious, mouth-watering burgers. If you’re in the mood for something lighter on the stomach, the Joshua Tree also serves typical bar grub, including nachos, fries, and onion rings. For a sports bar, Joshua Tree has a very good bottled and draft beer selection, including some specialty beers that are hard to find in Boston.
Ambience
Joshua Tree spans between two floors. The upstairs area is filled with TVs and is better for those who want to catch up on local sporting events. The downstairs area comes alive on weekends when BU and BC students flock to the Joshua Tree in an effort to meet other young college students. DJ’s play the hottest songs of the day downstairs where everyone, even wall flowers, dance the night away. Enjoy a delicious meal, dance until you legs give out, and meet other local people at the Joshua Tree, where the fun never ends and everyone is welcomed.
