Deep Ellum has been described as a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys a great time with terrific food, and a place with vast variety of beers and cocktails. Deep Ellum is a great place to sit down for a nice meal and have a drink or two. Deep Ellum refers to an arts and entertainment district near downtown east Dallas, Texas. This local watering hole in Allston, Mass (suburb of Boston) is a cozy place that uses the charm of the south to appeal to New Englanders.
Eats & Drinks
The “Best Wurst” plate is as infamous at Deep Ellum as the “Green Monstah” is to Fenway Park. These two succulent house made sausages and choice of 2 complimenting sides will make any red-blooded American’s mouth water. Now what’s better to wash down those tasty pieces of meat then an ice cold beer or cocktail, and Deep Ellum offers a medley of hard to find beers and an extensive cocktail menu.
Ambience
Walking into Deep Ellum is like walking into one of the bars in the movie “The Departed” minus the Irish gangsters and Leonardo DiCaprio slugging you in the face. It boasts an all wood bar with complimenting wooden barstools. The floor is an off white tile with small diamond shaped black tiles. The atmosphere is that of walking into your neighborhood bar, everything is in the same place since it opened and the same guy has been working the bar for years.

Go to Deep Ellum and enjoy the plethora of beer/cocktail choices - order the hot pretzels with beer cheese. Enjoy.
