They don’t call it Allston Rock City for nothing; Harper's Ferry is a great local venue that presents the best in local and national artists. Performances range from alternative rock, blues, jazz, and hip-hop, but on certain weekends promoters choose Harper’s Ferry to host some of Boston’s hottest college parties. Paper, for example, is one of the biggest parties thrown in Boston, often frequented by local college students from BU and BC. As a large open space, Harper's Ferry has a capacity of over 300 people and has enough interior space to hold any type of event, whether a hip dance night or a crazy rock show. In the back room, a smaller bar and pool tables provide patrons an area to relax away from the hard partying crowd of the main room.
