Open since 1933, Brandy Pete's embodies the atmosphere and personality of a typical Boston bar: friendly, casual, and fun. Legend has it that the bar's name derives from the tradition of new bar patrons buying owner Peter Sabia a brandy, his favorite drink. Brandy Pete's caters to Financial District types and an after-work crowd of date-seekers. They don't focus on food here, so just sit for a while and drink.
