Eats & Drinks
The Alchemist Lounge serves up a hearty menu of American comfort food. Late night dishes include a 10 ounce Sirloin Burger, a Portobello Mushroom Burger, and a slow roasted BBQ Pork Sandwich. Paired with side dishes like Crispy Fried Calamari, Tequila and Lime Hot Wings, and Warm Chips and Dip, the meals will surely leave your stomach full and happy. Since the legalization of absinthe, The Alchemist Lounge has recently begun serving the traditional favorite Lucid Absinthe Supérieure. The Alchemist Lounge also serves delicious coktails like the Mata Hari, an interesting combination of Couvoisier, chai-infused vermouth, and pomegrante. The Alchemist Lounge also features their own Alchemist Pale Ale, made exclusivly by the neighboring Samuel Adams brewery.
Ambience
What was once a dive bar has been magically transformed into one of JP’s most popular lounges. The Alchemist Lounge went under complete renovation during which the owners decided to keep some of the expose brick, add an all-wooden floor, and paint the rest of the walls a fiery red. The Alchemist Lounge includes tall, black tables for small groups and large, lush black leather couches for those who want to enjoy their cocktail in comfort. Large hanging lanterns provides adequate lighting at The Alchemist Lounge, where the fun beings once daylight ends.
