Once a haven for the black Euro sleek set, both clubs draw a whole new crowd here with its biggest selling point being the 19+ door Thursday through Saturday nights. ThursdayÂ's “Glamorous Life” draws a large gay/lesbian crowd, boasting the only gay hip-hop party in the city. Avaland playland is in session most Fridays, connecting both clubs with their string of neighbors Avalon, ID and Axis offering multiple dancing spheres for one price. Saturdays, both floors have hip-hop, reggae and dance beats dominating the turntables.
