This barÂ's interior flaunts the Jamaican flag and its colors, red, green and yellow, and serves Red Stripe and rum punch to the crowds. ItÂ's almost like visiting a bar in Jamaica, except, well, not so much during ChicagoÂ's winters.
Wild Hare calls itself the “reggae capital of the world.” Stretching the truth? With performers such as Rita Marley and Tony Reble, plus other local and national bands, itÂ's not too much of a stretch. The stage is big and the crowd is always upbeat – you wonÂ't find many people sitting in their seats here. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there is a $5 cover charge, Friday $10, and $12 on Saturdays (and Monday is hip-hop night, so if you go for free reggae, youÂ'll be disappointed). But trust us, if reggaeÂ's your thing, this place is worth the admission, mon.

This place is really really nice - at least compared to the last Wild Hare in Wrigleyville. They are working on their music license...it'll be a winner when they do!

Nothing like the original but this is a great spot for food and drinks or a party. The space is large. The music is great.
