Mysticism of Far Eastern décor predominates throughout this four-room bi-level club, where belly dancers shimmy and “hookah girls” tempt a toke. Complete with an elongated bar, two dance floors, and a DJ booth, the first floor adheres to the enigmatic East, as scarlet drapes, plush poufs and overstuffed sofas adorn the lounge. Shrouded under lighted trees, the outdoor garden accommodates a chrome bar and speakers blasting sounds from one of the venueÂ's three deejays. With walls bedecked in Arabic script, an enormous dance floor, along with another deejay and bar, occupy the upstairs area. Moroccan lanterns suspend from the ceiling of the fireplace-enhanced VIP room. The exotic intoxicates the norm, as befitting displays of Buddha, Indian murals, multi-hued silk pillows, and lavish velvet drapes embellish this esoteric club. Offering nightly themes to attract a diverse crowd, most of the clientele derives from lands far and near—tourists and urbanites.
