Beth M.3/20/09Delicious tapas. Cheap as hell. Scrumptious sangria. But horrible crowds. Best bet? Go for a nice late lunch on Saturday. After 5:00, you're in trouble.

Cafe Iberico continues to be one of the hottest go-to tapas restaurants in Chicago. Soon the restaurant will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, which is testament to the consistently good job that it does in exploring the wide world of tapas. Almost 25 years ago, the word “tapas” became the culinary buzzword around town. It’s a Spanish thing — appetizers, snacks. And just like that, tapas became a hot item in Chicago.
Gil J.9/20/10"Pulpo a la Plancha" and "Patatas Bravas" are must haves here.
Kelli L.8/6/09have the white sangria. yum!
NikAroundChi 4/21/10One of my favorite places in Chicago. Always a good time with great food and exciting atmosphere.
Chicago magazine 4/13/12Best bets: thin ham with manchego and tomato bread or the char-grilled octopus–french fry duo. Pintxos lounge upstairs on weekends.
