Breakout pop sensation and songwriter, Kevin Garrett, will be playing at Chicago’s historic Tonic Room for an evening at a vintage-style bar and music lounge. Make the Tonic Room your Friday night destination to hear Garrett’s incredible vocals paired with his classic soul-wrenching lyrics.

From his hauntingly smooth vocals to his trademark slicked-back ‘do, Kevin Garrett oozes a youthful class we can’t get enough of. With his recent EP “Mellow Drama”, this Friday night you can experience “Coloring” and “Control” with lyrics emphasizing honesty and human integrity. Currently based in Brooklyn, Garrett’s tracks have been featured in Spotify’s New Music Tuesday and Viral 50 List. Continuing his inspirations from Bob Dylan and Sam Cooke, stop at the Tonic Room to hear the voice behind the black-rimmed glasses.

Aside from featuring prominent artists in the Chicago area, the Tonic Room bears dark origins since its original ownership by Frederic De’Arechaga – a heavy witchcraft and spiritual practitioner. Voted as the “4th Most Haunted Bar in Illinois”, there’s rumors that the upper level was once used as a brothel and the tavern a popular gathering spot for an Irish gang. Despite its eerie past, the Tonic Room is currently recognized by locals as a friendly neighborhood bar that offers great drinks and artist debuts. Experience Kevin Garrett at Chicago’s favorite local bar for a no-frills Friday night.
