Michelle Deighton, former America's Next Top Model contestant, WWE Tough Enough star, and Jon "Jonny Fairplay" Dalton's wife, has hit-and-run her own grandmother-in-law.
According to the police report, Deighton had gone back to her soon-to-be-ex-hubby's house to pick up some of her things and Dalton had already changed the locks. (ouch) Dalton's grandmother arrived at the scene and proceeded to block Deighton's car, telling Deighton that she was trespassing private property. (gangsta grandma) While blockading Deighton and calling the cops, Deighton smartly decided to ram Grandma's car when attempting to flee the scene. (double ouch)
Wow....who knew cutie Shia was such a big mouth? LaBeouf said way too much during his interview with Details Magazine when conversing about his conquests past romances. Shouldn't celebrities in the limelight know better? Especially when you're at the risk of tainting somebody else's reputation? I smell big trouble...
Actor, Shia LaBeouf, shows off says during the interview:
"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
Unfortunately for the short folk, maxi dresses are in. I'm 5'3" (shortay) and I've always wanted to pull off a maxi dress.
When style queen, Carrie Bradshaw, was seen in Sex and the City sporting a maxi dress oh-so-fabulously, there seemed to be hope but then I remembered I don't work out three times a day like she does and have the ittybitty waist with the curves, which makes her look taller than she really is. [not fair] Some shorter women look beautiful in maxi dresses but I look completely awkward and shortened. Is it just me?
It's time to get economically fashionable! If you have a limitless budget, curse congrats to you. However, for most people, it's impossible to have a wardrobe full of in-style designer brands unless you are A) in extreme credit card debt B) married to a designer or have some badass connections or C) have the inside scoop on sample sales! Wahoo! We're gonna help you with that.
With the help of the brilliant Mizhattan, we've gathered a variety of vital dates so get your pen out!
Opening Ceremony
Location: 148 Lafayette St. (b/w Howard & Grand)
Located in downtown New York, Ninja, a Japanese restaurant, is not for the faint-hearted. If you're looking for a truly kooky restaurant experience, this is the one for you.
My dinner date was attempting to "surprise" me with the restaurant choice and he certainly succeeded. We walked into a dark, shady, and claustrophobic "lobby" where the restaurant host was sitting alone in the dark. We gave her the dinner reservations and without responding, she indifferently began transmitting gibberish into her walkie talkie. She then asked us if we wanted to take the "easy way" or the "hard way" into the restaurant. I was already confused.
Vogue + plus-sized models....this combination sounds antithetical, right?
We're used to seeing the impossibly skinny models on the magazine covers of Vogue. And after reading the magazine from cover to cover, we begin to feel guilty about that cheeseburger and ice cream. Vogue, a renowned fashion bible praised by many, has also been scrutinized and castigated for solely featuring models who look unhealthily thin. Franca Sozzani, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, strives to shatter the mainstream obsession with skinniness and also aims to dispose of Vogue Italia's negative reputation of narrow-mindedness.
"I didn't mean to end his life
I know it wasn't right
I can't even sleep at night
Can't get it off my mind
I need to get out of sight
Before I end up behind bars."
This is the first verse of Rihanna's new song debut, "Man Down." The lyrics delve into her regret over shooting and killing a man but the lyrics do not explain to listeners why Rihanna has committed this crime.
"Man Down" finally debuts as a music video and gives us curious listeners an answer. The video is based on a reverse chronology. The video opens up with Rihanna shooting a man from a window and the video continues into the next scene titled "Yesterday", showing events prior to the murder. At the end of the music video, viewers are made aware that Rihanna's music video character was raped and decided to kill the perpetrator out of impulsive fury.

For chocolate lovers, Cadbury is indisputably deeeeeeeeelish but could we ever imagine that this delectable treat was politically incorrect and racist?
Cadbury's regrettable advertisement caused controversy with camera-magnet and supermodel, Naomi Campbell.
After seeing the advertisement, she said, "I am shocked. It's upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people. I do not find any humor in this. It is insulting and hurtful."
Activists like Reverend Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson were infuriated and even went far enough to threaten to boycott the entire company.
"It's Friday, Friday!
Gotta get down on Friday!" (Thank you, Miss Rebecca Black)
We all made it through the week. Congratulations to us. Now we must do ourselves a favor and buy ourselves a drink!
Whether you're relaxing or going out and partying (yeah!), try some Cîroc vodka. At a bar last week, the bartender was offering free shots of Cîroc vodka. Now, I'm not really a vodka kind of gal but we here at Joonbug, never miss out on a free shot. Vodka doesn't always go down well for some, but this vodka is an exception--it is smooth!
