The signature sounds of Bassnectar will fill the walls of Palladium Ballroom next month, when the genre-bending DJ rolls into town on his Divergent Spectrum tour. Joined by Ana Dia and Superdre, the night promises to be a celebration of diverse beats and crowd interaction.

Bassnectar, whose real name is Lorin Ashton, spins everything from dubstep to punk rock remixes. The Santa Cruz-based artist is just as active socially as he is behind the boards, as he's been a longtime supporter of the Concious Alliance, an organization that brings food to the needy.

For him, music-making and his social obligations are one in the same. "We are so blessed, and so deeply fortunate to be alive and awake right now...it's a basic truth, but it's very powerful," he said in a press release. "I think privilege confers responsibility, and Bassnectar is a reflection of that opportunity to give back."

Will you be a part of Bassnectar's pulsating, all-welcoming live show come Oct 31st? Tickets are available here.
