Contributing House Music Writer

Attention music lovers! Joonbug.com is looking for a talented writer to contribute to our magazine-style music blog, Frequency. If you’re obsessed with music, in all its forms, then this unpaid position will allow you to grow your portfolio and professional recognition in your field. Perks include gaining access to exclusive events, festivals, and other hot spots. There will be a considerable amount of writing in this position as you will be expected to write about events as they happen — be the voice of the music scene!

Responsibilities Include:

• Profiles on the hottest local bands/artists

• Interviews with music venue owners, sound engineers, etc.

• Interviews with music trendsetters on the movement in local music

• Artist interviews

• Coverage of music events

We are looking for creative individuals who are committed to writing several short posts per week for the Frequency blog. This opportunity is remote and meant to advance your writing skills while giving your writing national exposure. You must be able to work with tight deadlines, be reliable, and a self-starter, and most importantly love to write.
