Contributing Nightlife Writer

Attention nightlife lovers! Joonbug.com is looking for a talented writer to contribute to our magazine-style nightlife blog, Scene Tracker. If you’re obsessed with nightlife and lifestyle happenings then this unpaid position will allow you to grow your portfolio and professional recognition in your field. Perks include gaining access to exclusive events, festivals, and restaurants. There will be a considerable amount of writing in this position as you will be expected to write about events as they happen — be the voice of the nightlife scene!

Responsibilities Include:

• Interviews with doormen, promoters and venue owners

• Information on openings, closings and why

• Understanding the scene and what it takes to get into the hottest clubs

• Nightlife gossip and news

We are looking for creative individuals who are committed to writing several short posts per week for the Scene Tracker blog. This opportunity is remote and meant to advance your writing skills while giving your writing national exposure. You must be able to work with tight deadlines, be reliable, and a self-starter, and most importantly love to write.
