Editorial: Celebrity & Gossip Writer

Almost Famous Contributing Writer Position: 

Joonbug.com is now looking for a New York-based writer to contribute to our magazine-style Celebrity blog, Almost Famous. The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of the celebrity scene and the ability to produce engaging articles according to our editorial schedule. If you’re obsessed with celebrity culture and gossip then this unpaid position will allow you to gain tons of writing clips and professional recognition in the field. There will be a good amount of writing in this position as you will be expected to write about events as they happen.  

Responsibilities Include:

• Celebrity and socialite gossip
• Party and after-party event reviews
• Celebrity sightings
• Entertainment industry news

We are looking for creative individuals who are committed to writing several short posts a day. You must be able to work from our Manhattan office 3 days a week from 10-5. You must be able to work with tight deadlines.
