Intern Description

Joonbug.com is seeking a non-paid intern in our New York City office to assist our Marketing Manager with the implementation of street marketing and promotions strategies for special events in multiple markets (New York, Miami, Boston, Philadelphia, and Chicago to name a few.)

Job Responsibilities Include:

·         Assist Marketing Manager with all marketing programs including event photography/videography, flyer distribution, poster distribution, and other guerilla tactics

·         Updating the Joonbug calendar with weekly party flyers and event info

·         Screening job applicants and scheduling interviews for photography/distribution

·         Maintaining our database of existing photographers and flyer distributors to fill positions

·         Coordinating shift times for photographers and flyer distributors

Job Requirements Include:

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Excellent project management and detail driven

·         Must have general knowledge of Manhattan and NYC transit system

·         Applicants not meeting these requirements will not be considered

Hours:  Interns are our Flatiron office from 11 am - 6 pm

·         Minimum of 3 days per week (4 days preferred), Monday-Friday available

Payment: Unpaid (must be for school credit or experience purposes)
