Joonbug.com is a full-service event management and production company in the nightlife industry.  Joonbug specializes in producing Halloween and New Year's Eve events and is the largest holiday event production company in the country.  We own and operate multiple digital properties dedicated to advertising, marketing and selling tickets to events nationwide.  These websites include Joonbug.com, HalloweenParties.com, HalloweenGuide.com, NewYears.com, NewYearsEve.com, NewYearsEveCentral.com, and CraveTickets.com.  The Promotional Spokesperson position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of helping increase customers’ awareness of our New Year’s Eve 2013 Times Square Party Passes. The Spokesperson will be the liaison between our in-house concierge department and existing concierge ticket reseller database.  In addition, the Spokesperson will develop new and long lasting relationships with new concierge personnel.  Candidates must live in New York City and must be comfortable working at night, and on weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business development
- Market our online ticket reseller system to concierge personnel
- Call multiple concierges across the NYC area to develop partnerships for this New Year’s Eve as well as for all upcoming Joonbug events
- Prepare marketing materials
- General correspondence with our concierge partners
- Maintaining current relationships
- Candidate will represent the biggest New Year’s Eve company in the world, so professionalism is a must!

REQUIREMENTS
- Great communication skills and phone etiquette
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude with affable personality
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be self driven

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Candidate must have prior sales experience
- The candidate is required to work through January 1, 2013
- Candidates must live in or around NYC (meaning if you cannot get here via a subway do not apply - there is no exception) and must be comfortable working at night, and on weekends
- We would like to fill this position as soon as possible!
- Compensation is $10-$15/ hour D.O.E

Hours: Promotional Spokespersons are in our New York office from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Mon. thru Fri., plus weekend hours, and extended hours during the holidays.

Payment: $10-15 per hour depending on experience.
