Italian San Gennaro Feast Begins
You may not be Italian but you can celebrate like one.

San Gennaro Feast
Las Vegas Sun
The Las Vegas semi-annual San Gennaro Feast is here again and ready to mob those taste buds. In honor of the Patron Saint of Naples it is the largest festival in the valley. Starting as a religious celebration the fair now celebrates Italian heritage with ethnic food, live performances, carnival rides and games.

Mangia some sausage and peppers from the grill rapped in a club roll. Clog the arteries with a bag of zeppoles, which is fried dough with powered sugar. Taste heaven from the tubular pastry shell stuffed with a sweetened filling of cannoli cream. With your mouth full listen to some Live Italian music. Go on the carnival rides before you eat but don’t forget to win a stuff animal for that special someone.

The Feast begins Tuesday Sept. 14th and goes on until Sunday Sept. 19th. Tickets are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for children less than 54 inches tall. Coupons are available on the Feast’s website. Check out the traditional Italian procession on Wed. Sept. 15th at 7p.m. Pin a dollar to San Gennaro and the donation will go to the St. Ann Church and Catholic Charities.
