Scene
Grand Central is the newest and trendiest addition to the budding, downtown Miami scene. Versatile and unique, this midsize live-performance venue offers a sleek modern interior suitable for a wide variety of events, not to mention a killer light show and sound system. The 10,000 square feet of space that occupies Grand Central features a stage, plenty of dance floor, a range of seating options, and an outdoor area. In addition to hosting nightlife events, Grand Central puts on daytime events, and all at a very affordable price. In truth, this venue is the live-performance venue that Miami has been waiting for. And perhaps the only thing Grand Central lacks is the pretentious Miami attitude, something the patrons prefer to do without.
Eats & Drinks
Even though Grand Central is first and foremost a live-music venue, the bar is not in short supply. Patrons of Grand Central enjoy a full bar with top-shelf liquor at an extremely reasonable price.
Ambience
Grand Central is a place where patrons sip their favorite cocktail while jamming out to buzz-worthy indie acts from around the world. It is fun, laid back, and most importantly, it stands alone in Miami as a beacon for music and culture.
Celebrities
Indie favorites Major Lazer and Pirate Stereo have both already performed at this hot new venue.

IN THE HOUSE
Techno Takes over Miami

Let’s face it. Miami was made for the following:

1. Deep house, smooth melodies to sip margaritas while grooving in your best white linens.

2. Commercial house with cheesy vocals and ascending basslines.

3. After-hours at Space, which refutes #1 and #2.

But hard techno?

Born in a motor city of grim, dirt, and oil, techno is as far from the beach as you can get. But next week techno will migrate to Miami with the sounds of Tim Xavier an American-born DJ/producer turned Berlin transplant. (There's something about Germany and techno...) Pioneering the techno world since his first release nearly a decade ago, Tim Xavier was once known for play hard-techno, but has set the trend for blending deep minimal techno and house with outstanding technical skills.

Joonbug Presents Labor Day Weekend At Grand Central in Miami

Joonbug.com Miami threw their first official event to kick off the school year and wrap up Labor Day weekend in Miami. Grand Central, an old train station that has been morphed into a hot new club located in the up and coming downtown Miami area, made for the perfect venue. The event boasted a good looking 18+ crowd hailing mainly from the University of Miami. DJs King Benjamin, Beats Bailey, and New York phenom Jacomino spun open format to start the party, followed by sets of house and electro to close out one of the best Labor Day weekend parties around. Locals and students alike rocked the dance floor and popped bottles of Goose and Moet till 4 AM. The party was a great success and marked the beginning of a promising future for the Joonbug name.
