The actress/singer shoots to the top of the list from #68 to #1, unseating model Bar Refaeli. Miley announced the honor on her Twitter, gleefully tweeting, "Didn't know this was coming out yet! I'm so happy to be #1 on Maxim's HOT 100!"
In her interview with Maxim, her enthusasim continued, telling the magazine, "It feels amazing to be No. 1, especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world!"

As if instituting a tanning regiment that produced a skin color easier found in a box of Crayola crayons than nature wasn't enough, Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil, has found a way to trump her ridiculousness. In a pathetic attempt to add 30 seconds to her 15 minutes of fame, Krentcil has released a rap single entitled “It’s Tan Mom!”
Written and co-produced by singer Adam Bartais, “It’s Tan Mom!” begins with what has become a signature of terrible music, an idiotic proclamation of the track's feature followed by profanity. Sadly, It's Tan mom, bitch! proves to be the highlight of the song, as it’s downhill from there for both the listener’s ability to survive the length of the track and seemingly Krentcil’s sobriety. Slurred, off-beat lyrics couple with amateur dance craze rhythms to create arguably the worst song to ever hit the airwaves.
Neil Patrick Harris has signed on to host the 67th Tony Awards at the Radio City Music Hall on June 9th. The news doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering the numerous accolades for his previous hosting performances and the actor's love for all things musical. The Tony Awards honor the best of Broadway, and since NPH is known for being a song-and-dance man, he’ll certainly be performing a few numbers!

Justin Timberlake announced on Sunday that the eagerly-awaited follow up to the chart topping album will drop on September 30, 2013. The first half of The 20/20 Experience was Timberlake's first musical endeavor in six years since FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006; JT took time off from music to star in films such as The Social Network and Friends with Benefits. He co-wrote and produced for artists such as Ciara during that time, but his fans were clamoring for a solo-album from the former boybander.
The 20/20 Experience didn't disappoint, releasing hits such as "Suit and Tie" and "Mirrors" and selling nearly one million copies in its first week. JT confirmed back in March that there would be a second installment, but fans didn't know if the release was imminent or if they'd have to wait another six years!
In the least surprising news of the week, Chris Brown confirmed on an Australian radio show that he and Rihanna are officially finished as a couple. The pair have been on-and-off again since 2008, first ending their tabloid-friendly relationship when Brown assaulted the Barbadian-born songstress in 2009. Pleading guilty to felony assault, Brown received 10 years probation and a restraining order that required him to remain 50 yards (10 yards at public events) from his ex-girlfriend. In 2011, Rihanna requested that the order be relaxed so that they could appear at awards shows together.
In adorable celebrity spotting news, Jared Padalecki, and his wife, actress Genevieve Padalecki (née Cortese), who formerly played the demon Ruby on Jared's show Supernatural, were seen in the Big Apple on May 5th. Jared is visiting New York and New Jersey for a convention, and he decided to bring the entire family along for the trip!
The two met on the set of Supernatural, and married on February 27, 2010. On October 10, 2011 he announced via his twitter that they were expecting their first child together. Thomas Colton was born on March 19, 2012. The 13-month old boy certainly seems to have inherited his father's stature, based on the photos!

Justin Beiber was attacked by a fan in Dubai! The singer-musician was playing piano and singing "Believe," when a fan rushed on stage and tried to drag him off. The overzealous Belieber also reportedly knocked Justin's piano off its hinges in his attempt to touch the star! Security guards quickly stepped in and removed the man, and the concert continued, with Justin even performing several encore songs.
Beiber's had several problems since arriving in the Middle East. His concert in Oman was canceled on the grounds that it would be "too sexy" and he was reportedly seen racing his Lamborghini. He was also two hours late for a previous concert in Dubai, irritating the 15,000 fans that waited for him to arrive on a school night. Earlier in his tour, police officers pulled his bus over in Sweden, seeking contraband and finding a small amount of pot.

After serving a 5-month prison sentence in 2004 for charges related to the Imclone insider trading scandal, Martha Stewarthas rebuilt her brand, repaired her image, and is apparently ready for love. The 71-year old homemaking mogul has become the newest, and in all likelihood, richest member to join the online dating site, Match.com.
Reese Witherspoon finally put the record straight about her run-in with police after her husband, agent Jim Toth, was pulled over by Atlanta officers and tested for driving under the influence. Good Morning America wasted no time Thursday morning, introducting Witherspoon and immediately asking her about the incident, which put the actress's position as America's Sweetheart at risk.
She admitted that she'd 'had one too many glasses of wine,' but despite that, she and Toth had decided to drive. She apologized, stating that their decision had been 'unacceptable' and that they'd 'made a mistake.' Despite this, she kept her responses light, laughing a little when she admitted she'd been out of line and just panicked, even telling the police she was pregnant when she wasn't.
