Venue Description:
Danky, loud and down-n-dirty, this classic sweaty dive club houses four bars and a busy outdoor patio. Between the various rooms and the variety of themed nights (the Sunday 80's nights are especially popular), Dragonfly packs in a very diverse crowd. No doubt, it's best known for its alternative and hard rock acts. Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar have rocked out here, and celeb spottings are common, if you can see through the haze of smoke and alcohol-induced euphoria. Even if you don't spot anyone famous, you'll have fun just ogling the tattooed, pierced, be-wigged, leather-sporting, gender-indeterminate regulars.

In searching the internet for Dragonfly I came to a review that said they've seen big and small bands there, brushed elbows with vinyl clad pornstars and goths in joker makeup, all in the same place. I was sold after that, and immediately commenced further investigation.
Dragonfly's mellow atmosphere, smoke filled room, and private booths keep people coming back for more, or maybe it's the go go shows and $2 gin drinks before 10pm. Booths tucked away in the walls do NOT require bottle service, a great plus, and there is ample space around for dancing. Miss Kitty's Parlor on Fridays bring out Hollywood's weirdest for a night of sinful fun, and Drum and Bass Thursday and Disko Saturdays remind everyone that this isn't just a fetish club, and those aren't the only nights! Rave reviews from tons of patrons assure that a fun time will be had at Dragonfly any night of the week. The drinks are cheap, service is quick, but they only have one bar. They've also got an outdoor patio with benches galor for all you smokers out there. What are you waiting for, Miss Kitty's Parlor is TONIGHT!
