2003 was the end of an era for the iconic Hollywood Star Lanes, an institution that served Hollywood for 43 years and was home to the filming of “The Big Lebowski”. In March it was leveled to make way for a school. But just as the door to one icon closed, another opened. In April of that year Lucky Strike Lanes debuted its first location in Hollywood. Wanting to pay homage to its predecessor, Lucky Strike purchased Lane #7 from Star Lanes and made it Lucky Strike Hollywood’s bar. It’s been good luck ever since. Six years and 18 locations later Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge continues to roll its way across the country.

Lucky Strike Lanes has a full bar that will cater to your every desire. You must try the yummy sex on the beach! There is also a lounge area where you can sit and order delicious comfort food; think crunchy coconut shrimp and chicken skewers.

The impeccably shiny and neon-lit interior combines the past with the present. Modern touches like floor-to-ceiling video screens at the end of the 12 lanes mesh well with nostalgic niceties, including the long wooden bar top, which was actually Lane 16 at the Star Lanes. Art, movie clips and music videos flash on-screen as DJs deliver danceable grooves.

Lucky Stike Lanes is known to always be swarming with celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Ashlee Simpson.
