The JLS Scoop
On The Top!

Fans of the Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees have been deprived of a good boy band for years. However, the wait it seems has come to an end thanks to band members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan Gill and Oritse Williams of JLS. The four young men hail from Britian where they got their start from reality talent show "The X Factor." Although they were runners up, the group was noticed by Epic Records and signed quickly after. While in Britain they made quite the name for themselves and a fan base to brag about. Their fist self titled album went triple platinum and single "Beat Again" made it to #1 on the UK Singles Chart.

Recording their second album now, the boy band is signed to Jive Records and trying out their success in the US. Rumors of JLS collaborating with Chris Brown were cleared by the group today. Perhaps working with an artist who is under the public eye for all the wrong reasons, wouldn't be a good look for the new group. They were quoted on their fan site saying "Just to clear rumors up, we have not recorded with Chris Brown and have no plans to either".

Their latest single "Everybody In Love" is an up beat tempo with catchy lyrics and smooth harmonies. Look out for theses young men as they try to conquer the U.S. music scene one teenie bopper and boy band fanatic at a time.
