Shoe Addiction
We attend the 'Transit LA Shoe Show', to seek out all the key trends for Spring and Fall 11'

We have something to tell you.... We are shoe addicts! So attending the Transit LA shoe show, part of the LA Fashion Market was a bit of a dream come true for us at Joonbug. The huge space in the California Market Centre in Downtown LA was packed to the rafters with shoes in a multitude of heights, materials, textures and colors.

Matiko showed a huge variety of shoes in very 'now' trends. A pair of wedges had a fantastic 70's style 'T 'bar which would look amazing teamed with flared jeans. Another wedged pair came in a choice of tan or white and had a chunky ankle buckle detail: Great for those who like to make a ‘shout out loud’s tatement with their shoes. High heeled pumps, came with open toes, back zips and shoelace details for a touch of evening glamour.

Kelsey Dagger also showed a funky collection of spring/summer shoes. We particularly liked the chocolate brown leather, espadrilles which would make a dreamy pairing with a very now, calf length skirt. And a fantastic pair of mini wedge -think 1 inch-leather sandals adorned with peacock feathers and available in red, tan or white  would team very nicely with tanned legs and a super on -trend denim 'A' line.'

Lamb, showed a beautiful collection. With a focus on platforms, the shoes had a tribal/Caribbean vibe. We particularly loved the twisted raffia platforms, with neon orange and forest green straps. The perfect shoe to add  a pop of color to your summer neutrals.
