This small restaurant/lounge on Cahuenga Boulevard brings a kitschy, retro Japanese feel to Hollywood. This spot serves good food, but donÂ't expect sushi when you go to this Japanese restaurant, you wonÂ't find much of it on their current menu. Complete with hanging paper lanterns low, red bench-style couches and bamboo, Tokio is more of a lounge then club but has a small dance floor for those who arenÂ't afraid of getting close when the DJs get going and it gets packed. Monday nights here are a great way to kick off your week, if you want to avoid lines when the restaurant turns into a club, come early for dinner and drinks.
