This is it! Look no further! You've just discovered Culver City’s freshest, hippest and totally off the charts gastro pub. Alibi Room has a minimalist look accompanied by a high-speed yet low-key vibe. Music strums from speakers hooked up to the owner’s iPod and guests can expect to hear anything from electronica to indie rock. If you’re craving a typical American light beer such as Bud Light or Miller Light you’re down on luck – Alibi Room only stocks international beers. As an alternative, be prepared to sample the Czech beer on tap or one of Alibi Room’s many Japanese brews.

Alibi Room prides itself on its appetizing menu. Kogi, which were once exclusively available through a roaming neighborhood truck that needed to be located through tracking and hounding on a daily basis, are now available at Alibi Room, minus the frustrating pursue. For those not familiar with Kogi, they are Korean BBQ-filled tacos loaded with either short rib, chicken or spicy pork and topping with sesame chili salsa, green onion, sesame seeds, and taco classic, cilantro. Another favorite at Alibi Room is a traditional Quebec dish: poutine fries topped with mozzarella cheese, and smothered with gravy. If you have room for dessert and are craving something sweet, be sure to order the homemade carrot cake, baked with bits of pecans and topped with cream cheese frosting.

The newly designed Alibi Room boasts a sleek, modest interior. Embellished with an intimate brick fireplace, natural cedar wood décor, plush rearrange-able seating, and soft gray colored walls, you are sure to love the simple, unfussy feel of the place. The bar itself is the shape of a skewed triangle, adorned with rows of hundreds of Kettle One bottles. A glass wall divides the bar and the outdoor patio, and those wishing to get some air or go for a smoke can do so there.
