Whatever Halloween may mean to you—dressing up, haunted houses, or partying the night away—L.A. has got a little something to offer everyone this year.

WEST HOLLYWOOD COSTUME CARNAVAL
Originating as a gay pride parade in 1987, the West Hollywood Costume Carnaval has grown into L.A.’s largest and most well-known Halloween celebration. With 500,000 people expected to attend, you definitely do not want to miss out on the parade this year!
On October 31 from 6 PM to midnight, join hordes of Halloween revelers who will be parading as goblins and ghouls, angels and devils, and a myriad of other creative costumes on Santa Monica Blvd. between La Cienega and La Peer. For parents who think this event may be too extreme for the younger crowd, there is a whole week of events for families leading up to the Carnaval. With pumpkin carving contests, a youth carnival, and even a doggy costume contest, no one is left out this Halloween!

PANDORA @ THE VIBIANA
If you’re looking for the ultimate Halloween experience this year, head to PANDORA, a club created just for Halloween 2009! A group of club promoters have come together to transform a Santa Monica cathedral, The Vibiana, into a nightclub to be inhabited by vampires, demons, and ghouls for the holiday. With DJs spinning music all night, a live performance by “I Love College” singer Asher Roth, and open bar all night long, PANDORA plans to provide its attendees with a night they’ll never forget.
PANDORA will be getting the party started early with events on Tuesday, October 27 and Friday, October 30. Check out www.pandoranightlife.com for more information about the week’s events.

MONSTER MASSIVE
Already in its 12th year, Monster Massive has proven to be the quintessential Halloween event in town for music enthusiasts. Each year, tens of thousands of people flock to the L.A. Sports Arena for an electronic music festival that can’t be beat! This Halloween, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Reza, Steve Lawler, and many more will be performing live.
