Make Way For The 16th Annual United Way Miami Wine and Food Festival!
How to taste food from 36 restaurants, in one night, in one location!

  Okay so if you are a true foodie at heart, you may just be recovering from the annual SOBE Food & Wine Festival.  I was in a food coma and wine hangover for about two weeks post this phenomenal event and now I'm ready for more!  Enter: The 16th Annual United Way Miami Wine and Food Festival! Perfectly placed on a Thursday evening, this modest festival on it's 16th year running, is sure to satisfy any food festival withdrawals, and allow for a smooth Friday work day.  It's not too much, it's not too understated, it's just right!

Who: You, your foodie neighbors, and, thirty six of our favorite local Chefs.  Oh, and for every bite of food you take, comes a sip of wine from the best vineyards from around the world.

What: It's basically a party for your palate and the best thing you could ever do on a Thursday night if you're a) hungry, b) thirsty, c) enjoy being outdoors or d) love the blues.  The Jay Blues Band is performing throughout the evening.  They will entertain you with blues, blues-rock, R&B, jazz and funk!

Where: Merrick Park in Coral Gables.  To be exact; Village of Merrick Park, 358 San Lorenzo Avenue, Coral Gables FL, 33146.

When: Thursday night.  This Thursday, April 14th.  5pm to 9pm.

Why: It's for a good cause!  The festival proceeds benefit United Way of Miami-Dade which supports countless programs that improve our community!  And, why not?!

Added Bonus and/or Challenge: For all you lucky people that don't have Friday morning commitments, there is an afterparty called "Music to Drink Whiskey By".  And yes, you listen to music and drink whiskey with a Whiskey Ambassador and a Scotch Specialist.

Admission: $75 for the party $20 for the after party, which remember, goes to benefit a good cause.
