Meshing different genres into their feel-good reggae vibes, The Resolvers have been satisfying South Florida’s live music lovers for the past three years. Keeping spectators on their dancing feet for hours on end, the quintet delivers a handful of original tunes, some familiar covers, and a spirit of harmony at every show.
The Resolvers mostly perform original material at their gigs. They are currently focused on a self-produced CD of songs they’ve written themselves entitled H’amsa. All of the work is done in-house at a studio/warehouse in Deerfield Beach. "We want to keep grass roots and build it one person at a time with a quality e-mail list. We plan on acquiring a strong fan base and get people to join our family,” explained electric guitarist and harmony vocalist Ron Eisner. "We like to spread ourselves out all around South Florida to different venues."
The guys have been busy in preparation for a show scheduled for November 17th in Philadelphia. The festivities will take place at Harcum College in celebration of 25th Anniversary of The English Language Academy. Unfortunately, the event is invitation only, so tickets are not available for sale. Upon The Resolver's return to South Florida, they'll be playing the grand opening of Reggae Wednesday at Pulp Live in Fort Lauderdale. Local band Roots Shakedown will be opening the event. At the end of the month, The Resolvers will headline a gig at Miami's oldest venue, Tobacco Road.
The Resolvers are touring the top recording studios in the area and narrowing down their choices to decide where they will be recording their full-length CD. The crew’s long-term goal is to get booked to go on a global tour. But until then, The Resolvers are plenty happy keeping the spirit of Jah alive.
