Scene
: International superstars Gloria and Emilio Estefan invite you to Bongos Cuban Café, a place where you can relax, eat great food, and most of all, do what they do best, party Latin style! This place is the proverbial “tourist trap,” as tourists frequent the club and restaurant to check out quintessential Miami and Cuban nightlife. Locals and Cubans, however, consistently come to this place as well, as the Cuban food and atmosphere is second to none. During the day, the café is a bustling restaurant, bursting with Cuban food and Latin music. But, at night, Bongo’s Cuban Café turns into a crazy nightclub, as Latin salsa plays from the state-of-the art sound system, and patrons can groove the night away.
Eats & Drinks
Food available until 10 pm, 10:30 on Friday and Saturday
Serving Lunch and Dinner, Bongos Cuban Café offers some of the best Cuban food you will find in Miami, especially the Cuban Sandwiches. Famous for the Mojito selection as well, Bongos has a full, stocked bar. Every Friday is Happy Hour, select Thursday’s are Ladies Nights, and Saturdays are Latin Night’s.
Ambience
Located right next to the American Airlines Arena, the architecture is a tropical deco design, with a bar that looks like a pineapple. Inspired by Old Havana in the 1950’s, this restaurant/club is a large but welcoming place.
Celebrities
Hosted the after party for the Latin Grammy and Latin Billboard Awards. Gloria Estefan, Giselle Blondet, Graciela Beltran, Gabrielle Union have all visited the nightspot.
