New ultra lounge, Arkadia opened it's doors this past weekend and made quite the first impression on Miami's nightlife scene. The club, even in it's first few days hosted a birthday celebration for hip hop superstar Drake, who partied alongside Lebron James, Ed Norton, Alex Rodriguez and Ashanti.
The lounge within the Fontainebleau is now sister venues with powerhouse and award winning LIV nightclub. MMG Nightlife, the same masterminds behind LIV wanted to create a more personal and exclusive venue. The new space was designed for a little over 300 guest, with both indoor and outdoor space featuring a small pool for those party-goers who want to make a little splash before they leave the club.
Sexy, seductive, and sophisticated, the interior was designed by Francois Frossard. Inspiration taken from the inside of a mirrored jewelry box, the lounge boasts a number of laser cut gold mirrors on the ceilings, floors, and DJ booth. The lounge also features 25 tables, overstuffed sofas, and two full-service bars.
Thursday's party, dubbed "Subliminal," will definitely be a hit, and due to the following that sister nightclub LIV has created for house music fans, Arkadia will feature DJ Ross One spinning open format on Saturday's for those seeking a little more than one genre. Friday's and Sunday's will exclusively feature house music. Preceding the new club, Arkadia's space was once home to Blade restaurant, as well as the resort's arcade back in the 70's and 80's, thus the inspiration for the name.
Boasting a stunning venue, top name acts, world renowned dj's, with the already established reputation of the iconic Fontainebleau resort, Arkadia might just give it's sister venue LIV a run for it's money -- maybe.
