Crookers: A LIV Takeover
Check your pockets, Crookers were in town.

Throw those hands up and prepare yourself for the drop. It's always a pleasure to have Crooker's in Miami. In their only appearence outside of conference this year, Crookers hit LIV and put on nothing short of a pummeling performance. Taking a bit of a hiatus after an unprecedented and groundbreaking 2009/2010 for the italian duo, Crookers showed the welcoming Miami crowd that they still had that magic touch that they displayed at Ultra Music Festival last march after the debut of their album, Tons of Friends (except this time, there were no sounds from the Lion King).

Dropping remixes of such tracks like Miike Snow's "Animal", to Green Velvet's "La La Land", then bringing it back to 1997 with Blackstreet's "Dont leave me girl", Crooker's set was anything but mainstream yet mind blowing none the less. Dirty Harry Wednesday's at LIV keep up their reputation once again, making last Wednesday's party the best in Miami (and that's making a statement when other talents such as Boyz Noize are in town). Crookers, among many other artists under the AMonly name, have established their name in the world of electro/house and leave many fans anxious to hear their next track. Crooker's next gig will be at New York City's Webster Hall on New Year's Eve.
