There’s no shortage of new or weekly attractions to help break in a new city dweller or rekindle the sun-filled passion of long time residents.

Sweat Records’ owner Lauren Reskin will lead a discussion with panelists Arielle Castillo of Spin.com, Romulo del Castillo of Schematic Records, Abel Folgar of the Miami New Times, and local historian for the punk rock/underground Miami music scene Ted Lucas.

Kentucky Derby 2012

Ladies are asked to wear hats while men are encourage to wear colorful ties as per their hat and tie competition. Bacardi sponsors  the Miccosukke Tribe of Native Americans of Florida as they showcase fine wine and spirits, food, and entertainment. This event benefits the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.

A decadent afternoon tea-inspired menu, champagne and silent auction honoring Love and Hope’s Life Chairman Sonja Zuckerman. Hosted by the  Young Society of Love and Hope. This is the first annual Miami Beerathon. Tour Miami’s cool and hip bars, 26 bars to be exact. The website assures that, “finishing is not mandatory.” Sounds ridiculous.
