This illness is so serious that he had to cancel appearances on HOT 97 radio, where he was supposed to promote his new mixtape with DJ Drama, GANGSTA GRILLZ LOST TAPE.
Earlier today on Atlanta's V103's Ryan Cameron show, 50's good friend Floyd Mayweather Jr. sincerely asked fans to keep him in their prayers saying, “Please keep 50 Cent in your prayers he is in the hospital and he is extremely sick…we will remain positive."
It turns out, 50 Cent was diagnosed with a blockage of his small intestine. After four unsuccessful attempts to remove the blockage by inserting a tube through his nose, doctors decided that method was not going to work. As of now he is being observed to see if anything changes, if not he will have to undergo surgery!
50 has taken to Twitter to update fans on his condition and speak on his new mixtape;
“I don’t want to go into surgery. @FloydMayweather call my phone why your phone off,” the music mogul wrote on the social networking site. “Do not do a @djdrama gangsta grillz this is all I get. Ain’t this a b*tch. I give 15 tracks you give me this.”
50 cent is an icon in the hip hop game, let's hope he gets well soon.
