Over the last few weeks, we have been hearing Hollywood toss around numerous A-lister names for the lead roles in E. L. James’ top-selling trilogy, 50 Shades of Grey.
Here is a list of some of Hollywood’s sexiest men that are up for the role of kinky Christian Grey:
Chis Pine, who had said to reporters on the red carpet at ComicCon that he would consider the role if the script were good
Alexander Skarsgard, who had joked that he was “born to play that par.t”
Chris Hemsworth, whom said he is interested in the part
Ian Somerhalder whose name had been brought up multiple times to play Christian Grey
If anyone of these swoon-worthy actors were to get the part, I think it is safe to say that all of us girls will be purchasing out tickets weeks in advance.
This leaves Miss Anastasia Steele. Now we have heard names like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, Kristen Stewart, and Emma Roberts. The newest, and to us the best contender, is Miss Herminone Granger herself. Now that Harry Potter is in her past, Emma Watson is expanding her career and exploring new roles. Her new flick, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is to premiere September 14th of this year.
According to The New York Daily News, Emma is the frontrunner for the part. She has the look and most definitely the talent. I know all of you Potter fans have your fingers crossed for Emma. It is the perfect way to break out of her sweet and innocent persona behind and show her fans that she is all grown up now.
Emma’s reps have yet to confirm her possible affiliation with this movie but we are all in high hopes that they see she is perfect for the part!
