TV personality & daredevil Ryan Dunn, who just turned 34 several days ago, has died in a fatal car accident in Pennsylvania, along with another unidentified person. April Margera, Bam's mother, has confirmed with TMZ as well as Preston & Steve's radio show about the incident.
Officer Geiger from the West Goshen Police Department describes that the vehicle flew over a guardrail on Route 322 in West Goshen, PA, slammed into a tree and immediately burst into flames. The incident reportedly occurred at around 2:30-3:00 this Monday morning. Hours later, a tow truck was sent to remove the damaged remains of the car.
Investigators have determined that Dunn himself was the driver and the vehicle was more than likely to be his 2007 Porsche. Although nothing has been confirmed, there is a strong possibility alcohol was involved in the crash, especially since merely hours before the accident, Ryan posted via Twitter a picture of himself drinking with a couple of pals. Due to the severity of the burns on the bodies, the identity of the other victim is unclear. Dunn himself was only recognized because of a known tattoo on his chest.
Ryan Dunn is known by MTV audiences everywhere as one of the fearless, funny and sometimes downright foolish guys from the Jackass franchise along with Johnny Knoxville, Wee Man, and many other now-famous names. The show - which eventually lead to movies, specials, and 2 spinoffs - basically featured the group participating in jaw-dropping, disgusting, weird, random stunts & pranks all for the sake of comedy. He is also a member of the CKY Crew with Bam Margera, other skateboarders as well Margera's friends & family members.
Less than 2 weeks ago did Dunn appear with co-star and friend Steve-O on NBC'S Minute to Win It. It's a sad thought to realize that it would be one of his last appearances ever.
Thank you for everything, Ryan. R.I.P. Our prayers go out to all of his friends and family.
