Over the weekend Jonah Hill got himself into some trouble after using a homophobic slur when paparazzi harassed him on his outfit. The actor, known to support gay rights, is heard in the video saying, "Suck my dick, you f-ggot."
On Tuesday morning, June 3rd, The Wolf of Wall Street actor spoke with Howard Stern and gave an apology for his actions saying, "What I said in that moment was disgusting and a hurtful term. I should have said either nothing, or fuck you."
He further explained the situation saying. "Just to give it some context, not excusing what I said in anyway, this [paparazzo] had been following me around all day, had been saying hurtful things about my family, really hurtful things about me personally, and I played into exactly what he wanted. I used a word that I don't use in my personal life. It's not part of my vernacular. I'm happy to take the heat for using this disgusting word...it would break my heart to think that anyone would think, especially with all the work that I've done and all the loved ones I have, that I would be against anyone for their sexuality."
Back in 2012, Hill got into a Twitter feud with CNN's Don Lemon who is openly gay. He called Hill "a tool" on Twitter after he greeted the actor in a hotel.
Hill responded, "I said hi what you want me to do move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace."
