Kardashian told People how surprised she was and gave details about the party Kris planned for her family to celebrate after the engagement, “I didn’t expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now. Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there, later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! Some might say that the engagement came too soon as the two have only been dating for six months, but in Kardashian terms, that is an eternity -considering the blissfully happy Khloe and Lamar only knew each other a few weeks before sprinting down the aisle. Everyone should place their bets on how long it will take for Kim & Kris (we should have known he was the one because his name starts with “K”) to get their own E! reality show. Perhaps a pre-wedding special followed by Kim & Kris Take New Jersey AND Calabasas?
The three Kardashian sisters have already taken to twitter to scream about the news. Khloe tweeted first, “I can't believe I was able to keep this a secret but now I can scream all I want about it! Kim is engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!” She followed that tweet by welcoming Kris to the family and explaining how there are now 2 Kris’s in the family. Kourtney followed, “My sister is engaged!!! I'm squealing with excitement! The princess has found her prince. I am so happy because @KimKardashian is happy!”
Congratulations are indeed in order for Kim and Kris. Kim deserves happiness after her first failed wedding at 19, a sex tape outbreak, and a bad break-up with ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush. Embrace it, girl!
