The 26-year-old has given birth to a baby girl over this past weekend with painter/decorator husband Sam Cooper.
Her rep has not officially confirmed the news, but Allen's Twitter account has been flooded with close friends giving their congrats. Actor Charlie Condou was one of the many who welcomed the couple's new bundle of joy, "She has indeed, a little girl."
The British singer herself kept mum about the situation as well, tweeting only "Totes Amaze" the same day.
What makes this news so delightful to share is due to Lily Allen's share of heartbreak in the past. In 2008, she suffered an early miscarriage when she was with then-boyfriend Ed Simmons. Another devastating event occurred last November of 2010 where she lost her baby boy with Cooper - six months into the pregnancy - after she contracted a viral infection.
Lily Allen's journey towards motherhood has been difficult one, full of ups & downs. We are glad to learn of the good news - she truly deserves it. Congratulations to her, Sam, & Mini-Cooper!
