So, so proud of her!

While vacationing in Costa Rica with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and her family, Miley Cyrus had quite the unpleasant encounter with some of the little people.

The Disney alum was taking pictures and interacting with a few fans when a not-so-friendly "fan" made a rude comment towards her. She responded back by saying, “What the f*#k?”

She took her defense to Twitter and said:
 

"Been trying not to tweet & just enjoy the holidays but just to clear something up I would NEVER swear to a fan. When someone yells something"

"SO rude making ME look like an "a**hole" infront of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/ i cant tolerate that kind of rudeness"

Every1 who was there apologized 4 the womans brusque behavior. She obviously wasnt a fan. Hope every1 has a Merry Christmas! LOVE 2 ALL!"

We do not blame he for losing her patience a bit. When someone is rude and disrespectful, you have every right to defend yourself. We actually think she handled it pretty well!
