Natalie Portman Was Afraid of the Smurfs
We're sorry, Gargamel.

In the September issue of Interview magazine, Natalie Portman further confirms her charm and irresistibility during an interview with Brothers costar Jake Gyllenhaal. It's almost annoyingly adorable that she loves "really, really obscene hip hop" because it makes her laugh and want to dance. "Wait(The Whisper Song)" is her current favorite, and with lyrics like "wait 'til you see my dick," who could blame her?

Her favorite food is Carvel ice cream cake ("I am so Carvel"), and I'm immediately tempted to head out and get some myself. And, when it comes to her résumé, she humbly admits to not having many skills, saying "I can make chitchat, but not much else." Right.

Despite Gyllenhaal's insistence to the contrary, Portman confesses that she is "far from fearless" and "afraid of everything." Apparently, this includes cartoons (specifically Gargamel, the evil sorcerer from the Smurfs) and Ambien. Totally forgivable. To read all this and more, pick up the September '09 issue of Interview.
