After engaging in a tweet feud with a few of her followers, Nicki put a stop to it all and deleted @nickiminaj. Before vanishing from the site, she tweeted, "Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f--king bye!" those were some harsh words from the talented rap star, but it may be more serious then just some Twitter beef.
Mediatakeout is reporting that a member of Minaj’s camp is very worried about her mental state. After dropping Roman Reloaded, Nicki has been working a crazy schedule full of promotions, interviews, and public appearances.
Before pulling the plug on @nickiminaj, she had been targeted with criticism from some followers for comments on ABC's Nightline last week in which she said she "wanted to kill" her abusive dad when she was younger.
The pop star also had just blocked the fan site NickiDaily.com, which she accused of posting leaked music from her NEXT album.
This fansite is now officially down as well—the site's home page has ‘closed' written in bold black letters and the track "Dear Old Nicki" playing in a loop.
Nicki is no stranger to over-the-top antics, outfits, Twitter beef, or crazy word play. But she always put her barbz first! What now?
We hope it's nothing too detrimental. Nicki has been quoted a few times saying things along the lines of "Haters are my motivators," but even Barbies need a break!
Although the rap star might be silent on Twitter, she's currently gaining praise for her latest album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Her sophomore album debuted at No. 1 last week and Minaj was most recently called the "most influential female rapper of all time" by The New York Times.
