Superstar Oprah refused to give Sarah Palin airtime before the Presidential Election, but sent out the invitation soon after Obama Night in Grant Park. Palin made her post-election rounds with Greta Van Susteren and Matt Lauer but has yet to grace the Queen of Daytime with her presence. Talk around town was that Oprah had refused to invite the “Thrilla from Wasilla” on the show. Extra interviewed Oprah and put the rumors to rest. She complained about Palin visiting what seemed like every big personality and network and pouted, “But she didn’t talk to me.”

Palin was recently in talks with agents around town to begin shopping a memoir/autobiography. Such a venture would be a boon to one of the many flagging publishing houses that are bogged down in the economy with the rest of us. It’s been said that such a book could stand to go for $7 million. Little has been said, however, about whether the pit bull in lipstick would actually be doing any writing.
