Poehler Makes Return Appearance on SNL
The baby mama opens the show with a Hillary Clinton skit.

Many SNL fans are lamenting Sarah Palin’s disappearance from the headlines and Tina Fey’s corresponding absence from Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey may be gone but Amy Poehler reappeared Saturday to reprise her role as Hillary Clinton.

The sketch-comedy series has enjoyed a higher profile this election year with spoofs of various candidates’ political missteps. Poehler opened the show by smiling into the camera and asking, “You thought I was gone, didn’t you?” Hilarity ensued as ‘Clinton’ attempted to convince herself that her new role as Secretary of State will be infinitely better than if she had been elected President. “Would you rather fix the economy or travel the globe? Point Hillary!" Poehler exclaimed.

She gave birth to son Archie Arnett on October 25th. Poehler previously told Men’s Vogue she would not return to SNL after taking maternity leave. We’re glad she reconsidered and hope to see plenty of this baby mama throughout the next four years!
