Gracing the cover of May’s issue of Elle, Rihanna gets real and personal about the men in her life and the controversy she’s part of.
The world will never forget what her abusive ex, Chris Brown, did and the leaked photos will probably never go away. A Georgia steakhouse even went on to make a 'Black & Blue' hamburger dedicated to her tumultuous relationship with Brown. Despite the traumatizing incident, she credits the controversy for her resulting strength. The 24-year-old sexy singer says, “It gave me guns. I was like, well, f**k. They know more about me than I want them to know. It’s embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. […] Now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide.”
She never did hide. In fact, she pretty much let out all her frustration in Rated R with its dark and edgy tone. Then things got interesting when multiple sources confirmed her friends-with-benefits relationship with Brown. On top of that, she caused a major havoc when she teamed up with her abusive Chris Brown for two music singles, “Birthday Cake” and “Turn Up The Music.”
Speaking more on the collaboration, Rihanna say, “The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It’s very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that’s all right. Because tomorrow I’m still going to be the same person. I’m still going to do what I want to do.”
Though now she’s living a very single lifestyle right now, Rihanna does want to get married and have kids. “It could be tomorrow. It could be 20 years from now,” she explains. She later continues, “I just feel like when the time is right, God will send me a little angel. But first, of course, I have to find a man. I mean, there’s a very important missing piece to the puzzle here!"
What will the world think if she’s preggers? And who will be the baby daddy? Rihanna probably won’t care about anyone hating on her game.
