Okay take a deep breath, it’s really not as serious as it sounds. On June 18th, Robert Pattinson was in the city filming scenes from his new fim, Remember Me, when reportedly he was clipped by a taxi.
Pattinson was “hit” when he was fleeing from his crazed fans outside Strand bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street. He was running to reach the solitude and safety of his trailer. A representative told the Daily News that the heartthrob was barely grazed by the taxi. Pattinson reportedly stood still for a moment, and appeared to be stunned. In the meantime his bodyguards screamed at the group of lady fans, “You see what you did, you almost killed him!”
According to Vivian Mayer, a spokeswoman for the film production company, “The reports are exaggerated. It was not caused by his fans. Production continues.” Maybe the bodyguard blamed the fans because he wasn’t doing his job which is supposed to be protecting the “Most Handsome Man in the World,” according to Vanity Fair. Or maybe Pattinson needs to look both ways before crossing the street. Nonetheless, we are glad that he is perfectly fine!
