Amongst these unhappy people is former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell. To Lindsay's surprise Rosie spoke out yesterday on The Today Show claiming to be disturbed at the idea of Lindsay playing the role of film icon, Liz Taylor. She also thinks the star needs to spend time putting her life back together before worrying about her career.
Rosie went back on Today this morning to elaborate on why she doesn't believe Lindsay should have been cast as Liz Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime movie, or any other role for that matter. She went on to explain that Lindsay is heading down a similar path as Whitney , and believes the only way she can be saved is if she takes time away from the cray Hollywood life!
One can understand why Lindsay took Rosie’s comments from yesterday to the heart though. She always had a good relationship with O'Donnell. They always spoke to one another at events. Plus, Rosie was one of the first talk shows Lindsay was on when the redhead was just 12-years-old, promoting her first film, Parent Trap. With all of that history, Lindsay doesn't understand Rosie's need to put her down. But Rosie insists she isn't putting her down saying, "To look at Lindsay Lohan, you can't help but feel for her ... and I do not think she's untalented, I think she's quite talented."
