Ryan Buell, the paranormal investigator and star of A&E's Paranormal State, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at only 30 years old.

Buell, is the founder of the Paranormal Research Society. A statement was released Wednesday morning on his Facebook page. "Things are looking positive after complications with his kidneys started a month ago and temporarily knocked him down," read the update. "Ryan enjoyed some Wendy's (but keep that a secret) and reported back to work today."

He has also been speaking out about his battle on his official fan page but wanted to remind fans that he is not the only one in this struggle.
